NEVER did I EVER think I would sell any of these mourning Cards. I have been removing them from all of our miscellaneous paper boxes and French freight for the last 10 years. There are mourning pieces in everything I unpack. I have included a picture of the backs of some of them as well, as they are beautiful. Now, in rearranging the office to make room for a new printer, I see we have three drawers of them and maybe close to 1000 assorted pieces. Condolence books, letters, death notices and photos which I just can’t share. I had no idea that my not wanting to sell these would create such a pile of them. I have realized we can’t keep everything, so I am listing sets in our store as we sort through them. I am hoping to eventually get three drawers down to one. We have created these bundles for our ephemera lovers. Assorted vintage mourning ccards from France in 5-piece bundles. No two are alike. We buy these from our French pickers and they come randomly in all our boxes. We just thought these would be great for mixed media, scrapbooking, and art projects. We bundle them with ribbon and put them in a cello sleeve.
