Beautiful Victorian gold cased fob/seal/pendant with the motto "RESPONDEZ VITE" on it. The stone is black mounted in a gold cased stem with a loop on the top for a hanging. This seal is adorned with the words "RESPONDEZ VITE" which sits atop a flying dove with a letter in it's mouth. "RESPONDEZ VITE" translated means "RESPOND QUICKLY". The stem is very ornate and at the at the top there is a hole through which a necklace can pass so it can be worn around the neck. This is a beautiful antique fob seal pendant. A true gem for both collectors and antique jewelry enthusiasts. It is approximately .70" wide and about .50" long and sits at about .90" tall. This piece is in wonderful condition given its age and it truly is a rare find. Please note we had to turn it several times as it is difficult to see the seal engraved on a black stone.
