An antique, late 1700s to early 1800s, rolled gold seal stamp featuring the bust of a man. We found this piece in England. The cameo seal is made of glass, and I believe the metal is brass, given its age and patina; however, I can't be certain. This is an ancient piece, likely dating back over 200 to 250 years. The glass cameo is in pristine condition, measuring .75" x .50". This must have been a buried find, where the glass would have maintained its condition and the metal would have deteriorated.
