Unopened full 500-gram packets of authentic antique French E. Remy & Cie Amidon Royal de Riz rice starch. These traditional blue-and-white packages of Amidon Remy Royal de Riz were produced by the renowned Belgian company E. Remy & Cie of Louvain (Leuven), founded by Edouard Remy in 1855. The company became internationally recognized as a leading producer of rice starch products.
The iconic packaging proudly displays the company’s many awards and gold medals, including the prestigious Grand Prix at the Paris Exposition of 1889, illustrated along the bottom of the package.
This 100% natural rice starch crystal product was traditionally used for:
- Starching clothing and linens to create a crisp, wrinkle-resistant finish
- Protecting delicate fabrics such as cotton and linen
- Soothing sensitive or irritated skin when added to baths
