Early 1900s antique pictorial frame. The bottom of the picture reads AVE MARIA. This is a shell-encrusted religious vignette entitled Ave Maria. AVE MARIA, meaning "Hail Mary" in Latin, is a traditional prayer that addresses Mary, the mother of Jesus. The oval dome glass is intact with no defects. It is in lovely condition with a strong wooden backing panel and original triangle brass hanger. The piece measures 12" x 10.5".
