Antique French dyed bone chips/tokens from the 1800's. These are all assorted and sold in sets of 10. These date from the very late 1880's and are in vintage condition, all hand colored and stained with natural vegetable dyes.
They are a confection of various shades of each color and each one is unique. Some are a solid color and others are paler. They were once used in a bar as a game.
These exquisite pieces are hand made, with minute details and imperfections, the bone having subtle differences in thickness and color throughout. No two are the same.
They are a beautiful delicate confection from a bygone era, and would be hard to replicate the quality or authenticity.
Would add a touch of class for any craft project, making a very unique and original decoration and could be displayed in many settings. Alternatively they could be used for craft or scrap booking purposes as well as for jewelry.
