Extremely rare Victorian 9 seal wheel spinner seals with motto inspired intaglios around the wheel and one more seal on each side. This make a total of 9 individual seals.
This beautiful antique seal wheel dates from the early 1800's. It is in excellent condition with all the original seals including a white agate on one side and a grid pattern on the other. The white agate seal has a bird holding a letter in it's mouth. The wheel seals are as follows:
"Such Is Life" with a picture of a sailing ship.
"Faithful" with a picture of a dog,
"God Gives Us" with a cornucopia,
"Quick" with a picture of a locomotive,
"I respond" with a picture of a harp,
"Silent" with a picture of a bee,
"While I Live I'll Crow" with a picture of a rooster,
It is rare to find these in this mint shape and condition. You could keep it as it is or use it as a pendant by adding a tiny loop in between two of the wheels, this can be done by any professional jeweler.
