Rare 1800s antique French door knocker of a hand. We have all seen the Fatima hand door knocker, which is most often found in southern France. In the shape of a full hand, you lift and release to knock on a door. This is a large, heavy piece that had to have come from a big door. The hand is cast iron and is the knocker. It measures 7" x 3", and the depth of the hand is 2.25. Truly an amazing, rare piece of antique French craftsmanship.
