Large original, beautiful French oil painting of sailboats. This lovely large piece is from Provence, France. The painting is signed and was painted on a canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The canvas is securely attached to the frame with tack nails. It features a shepherd on a hillside with his flock of sheep. The painting is signed Pastor J which could mean the painter was the pastor of this church. It is dated 1975. In the distance is a small chapel. You can see the texture in the paint, which is lovely. It is unframed. The oil painting measures 24" x `18" x 1". It is a one-of-a-kind item that would make a great addition to any art collection. This piece is just excellent, and our pictures do not do it justice. This truly is a lovely and timeless piece.
