ORIGINAL and beautiful antique Scottish idyllic Nautical painting. This is a wonderful oil on a wooden board in a gold frame. This is an original piece we purchased at auction in England. It was restored and reframed in 2015. It is a painting by RH Anderson from 1924 of Tantallon Castle. Tantallon Castle is a ruined mid-14th-century fortress, located 5 kilometres east of North Berwick, in East Lothian, Scotland. It sits atop a promontory opposite the Bass Rock, looking out onto the Firth of Forth. The overall dimensions of the framed piece are 16" x 10.75" x 1.25". This is a lovely original piece. The 1.25" accounts for the depth of the boxed canvas.
