We found a beautiful, original antique Italian box in Barbara, Italy. This is a handmade beauty from the early 1800s, covered in papier dominote. This is an empty box, and I don't know what it held, but it would make a perfect little accent piece for your dresser or bathroom. The boxes measure 4" in diameter and 2.25" tall. If you look at the picture, you can see that the original cutwork was done to the paper to give it a layered look. This is a rare and highly sought-after original Italian box that would be a welcome addition to any collection.
