ORIGINAL and beautiful antique French idyllic Nautical painting. This is an excellent, gilt-framed piece. This is an original painting we purchased in Marseille, France. I didn't take it apart, but the painting appears to be painted on a thick paperboard. The overall dimensions of the framed piece are 11" x 9" x 1.25". The 1.25 is the depth of the ornate frame. This is a lovely, original, signed piece featuring men on shore viewing a sailing vessel and an island in the distance.
