Own a piece of history. ORIGINAL and beautiful antique signed miniature French oil painting, circa the late 1800s. The small brush strokes on this piece are amazing. This is a wonderful hanging, but it looks good on a small easel. The painting is an original oil painted on a thin board in a gilt wood frame. The back is covered in paper, and there is writing I can't make out. The overall dimensions are 5.5" x 3.75" x .6". The .30" represents the frame's depth. Miniatures like this are getting harder and harder to find.
