These antique Ex-Voto's are 19th and 20th century embossed and cheseled metal pieces featuring legs. The ex-votos were hung in churches and symbolized wishes. Two steps could be taken: either the wish was not fulfilled and the ex-voto marked the request, or the wish was fulfilled and the ex-voto was hung as a token of thanks. These pieces are from Italy and France.
Please note that one of the pieces actually has the individuals initials on the back. This is a rare find as most of the pieces I get do not.
