Once upon a time, these were sweet antique ladies' accessories. In the 18th century, the well-heeled carried scents (perfumes or perfumed smelling salts) in small containers to mask the offending odors they encountered in their daily interactions. These miniature scent bottles are handcrafted in translucent Rock Crystal. The lids are silver, and beneath the lid is a glass stopper insert. These were used for smelling salts and perfume. Bottle "C" is missing the glass stopper insert, but the lid still works. Each piece measures approximately 3" x 1" x .50".
