This is a late 1800s silver metallic scallop-edged ecclesiastical vestment trim. This beautiful trim has repeating blossom and leaf designs. It is scalloped along both sides with a decorative loop edge. The trim has a well-developed patina and will look great with old fabrics. It was removed from an ecclesiastical vestment, and you can see the original stitching thread on the back. This single piece is approximately 40" long. The width is approximately 2.1" at the widest point. While used, it is still in overall good condition. One piece shows some slight signs of wear with some loose threads. It is a beautiful piece of trim.
