Large, wonderful 1837 antique French deckle-edge books. You are purchasing ONE book per purchase. These antique books measure approximately 9.5” x 6.5" and are 1.25" thick, which is an approximation, as they all differ. They are Saffron in color. These deckle-edge books are just fabulous. These are original, untrimmed paperback or "broché" editions. It is quite rare to find them in their original paper covers, as most collectors during the 19th century routinely bought paperbacks and had them custom-bound in leather or half-calf bindings. These are in fantastic condition given their age. We have 20 available. Books like this are getting harder and harder to find. These are originals from France. These are not reproductions. Keep each one as it is if you are a collector, or take it apart for decoupage, altered art, mixed media, and so much more. I have also used these books for wallpaper. One book can be used for so much.
