This is an incredibly beautiful, antique French compact. It dates to circa 1900. It is silver over brass. It measures 2 and 1/8” across and .75" tall. The round compact has the most lavish floral decoration on the lid. The reverse has the same design. The hinge on the back is in perfect working order. The compact opens via a tab and closes securely. The mirror and puff are long gone but this superb box is in excellent antique condition with no dings.
