Found in Normandy is this lovely Art Deco 1920s writing desk set. Green with flecks of color and gold in the bakelite. The letter opener and nob container are all bakelite. The quill and seal have brass hardware. There are two nibs in the nib holder and one on the quill. These are all presented in their original fitted case—green exteriors with cream interiors and brass closures. I can see no makers' marks, but it did come from France. The case is approximately 8" long, 3.4" wide, and sits at 1.2" tall. The condition for age is excellent, with very little wear.
