A beautiful set of 7 assorted 19th-century French gilt ormolu leaves. Superbly cast and of outstanding quality. This set has been left just as found untouched and original with touches of verdigris. These could be polished if required. There are three different leave sizes. The leaves are approximately 3.75" x 3.5". The backs of these leaves have small attachments where I can see that a rod of some sort was screwed in at one time. There are plenty of ways to hang these pieces although they look fantastic just laying about. I can also see them accenting a decorative picture, frame, or piece of furniture. This is an original from France and not a reproduction.
