Beautiful early 1900's French religious icon. A darling piece where the glass is the frame. I cleaned this piece, and it looks wonderful. It is an original and the glass is cracked but it has that "Faded Gandeur" look. Clearly, this piece meant something to someone. This piece measures 3.5" x 4.25". It is another great find, but I did not take it apart. I did, however, reinforce the frame with a new layer of the same OLD black around the edges. This one is a lovely find with the original ribbon and loop for hanging. I am pretty sure the glass can be replaced, and it can be retaped—just another darling piece of history.
