It is a beautiful antique French relic circa the early 1800's. This is 6 relics in one. Sadly, I don't have any backstory on this piece other than to say that it is a Holy Relic. It is a gorgeous piece made of paper. I think this piece had a lid at one time, but I can't be sure. Sometimes, it is hard to tell with relics. The relic has quilling with six paper circles and what looks like 6 turned paper beads. The back is paper and does show wear. From the side, it looks like cream paper and striped green paper were used on this piece. It is a gorgeous specimen of craftmanship from the early 1800's. This relic measures 2.25" in diameter and is about .80" deep.
