The French and Italians are famous for this type of art.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #24262a; font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWorks of art such as this were left almost exclusively to the hands of monks and nuns in medieval monasteries and convents.
