A large size sweet 19th century French hand stitched sampler. This particular piece is by Philomene Frichet and is dated 18 Mai 1877. This lovely piece is missing a few stitches but it is simply beautiful with flowers, birds, an altar, Ave Maria and a vine around the edges. This sampler measures approximately 22.5" x 22.5".
