Beautiful French idyllic canvas painting. This is an original piece signed by M. Cartier in the lower right corner. It is also stamped on the back. The back is stamped "MICHEL CARTIER. It is a wonderful early French oil on a flat loose canvas. We purchased this piece in Provence. I love this piece and the careworn look it has acquired over time. It is a fabulous piece. The overall dimensions are approximately 10" x 12.5". This truly is a lovely picturesque and tranquil piece. It just needs to be framed.
