Beautiful antique French religious wooden icon. Darling painted wooden icon with colorful gilt accents. The outer frame is gilded, and the inner frame is blue with gilded vines. Inside the frames is featured the Madonna and child. The back of the wooden icon has the original. I have not cleaned this piece, and it looks fantastic. This piece measures 4.5" x 3.15" x .25" and is in FABULOUS condition. While I purchased this in Provence, France, it could be Italian.
