Beautiful 19th-century French meerschaum religious icon carving. This is an oval-shaped hand-carved medallion made in France in the 1800s Victorian or Napoleon III Era . It is in good antique condition, with age-appropriate signs of wear and use due to it being cherished and touched. In my opinion, this just adds to its charm. It is blessed with a nice and natural patina. The piece measures 2.2" long x 1.75" wide x .30" deep. It could, however use a good cleaning.
