This is a fantastic find. This is a divine antique French 19th-century homespun handloomed chanvre linen and hemp panel. Made up of two joined loom widths and hemmed at the ends, it has been used as a farmhouse table cover. Flecks of hemp visible in the rustic weave
This is unbleached and totally natural—a heavy coarse tactile weave in fantastic condition.
It measures 60" x 40" and is just a beautiful piece.
