A lovely silver watch key fob from the early Victorian (1850s) era. This wonderful piece features a heavily textured foliate design that covers the fluted base of the fob. A round, purple amethyst stone seal adorns the bottom of the fob, not yet carved, and a watch key is at the elongated tip. A secure bail attaches to a movable ring that encircles the center of the piece, allowing it to be attached to a favorite chain. This artistic piece is perfect for the antique fob collector. Lying flat, the entire fob measures approximately 1.75" long and the matrix is nearly .50" in diameter. This lovely piece is in very good condition with minor age-related wear to the stone and metal.
