Beautifully crafted this seal features a lovely glass main stone in a dark black hue. This antique Victorian glass seal is a true gem for collectors of vintage and antique jewelry. The seal features the motto "Mon Desire" in French. The motto translates " I have a desire" in english and adds a touch of sentimental charm to this piece which dates back to the 1850s. It is 1.3" long and .78" wide. It has an ornate frame. This piece has some wear on the frame and a small chip on the glass but overall the condition is wonderful given its age of almost 175 years.
