A early 1800s bronze seal with the inscription "GOD SPEED THE PLOUGH" with the plough being a picture seal. The seal matrix measures approximately .5" wide x .7" long and stands at 1" tall. There is decorative work all along the handle leading to the loop at the top where a chain can be put through. This would be a fabulous piece for any jewelry enthusiast. A solid casting in bronze dating from the 1800s and in fantastic condition.
