Antique shell art found in Normandy in the shape of a lady's shoe. The shoe has a shell that reads "2 de CASTELLDEFELS". This is most likely a souvenir from the coastal town of Castelldefels from a once-upon-a-time visit. Castelldefels is a seaside city in Spain. The good things about Castelldefels are that it has large, beautiful beaches, really nice weather and is affordable. It makes for a perfect vacation spot. It is still a popular destination for French vacationers. This is a beautiful, delicate piece of history. It does have one chipped shell. The shoe measures 8.5" x 3" and has a hanger of cord on the top. This piece could use a cleaning, but I left it as is with the patina it came with.
