Antique shell art found in Normandy in the shape of a lady's shoe. The shoe has a shell that reads "2 de VINAROZ". This is most likely a souvenir from the coastal town of Vineros (Spanish: Vinaroz) from a once-upon-a-time visit. Vineroz is a seaside city in Spain known for its red prawns. This port city was once home to essential shipyards in the past, and has a long tradition in the canning industry. Once, this was a popular destination for French vacationers. This is a beautiful, delicate piece of history. It does have one chipped shell. The shoe measures 8.5" x 3" and has a hanger of cord on the top. This piece could use a cleaning, but I left it as is with the patina it came with.
