Beautiful antique scapular and folded relic of Saint Therese. Saint Therese was a Carmelite nun called the “Little Flower” who lived a cloistered life of obscurity in the convent of Lisieux, France. Both pieces are from France.

Scapular A is a hand-stitched cloth with a medal attached to it. It measures approximately 1"in diameter.

B is a folded paper relic. The right side contains a fabric rose petal and a blessed aluminum medal on top of it. You are meant to insert a picture of a loved one on the left side. oIt measures approximately 1.8" x 2.75".

Scapulars were usually made to order by nuns in convents. Devotional scapulars are objects of popular piety designed to show the wearer's pledge to a confraternity, a saint, or a way of life and remind the wearer of that promise.

Please note that these are not new. These are antiques, so wear is commensurate with age.
