Antique French Sacred Heart Ribbons and medals from the late 1800s to early 1900s. These came to us with a variety of old conscripts from the military. These may have belonged to soldiers.
A - The smaller of the ribbons measures 1.25" x 1.25" and is sewn to a safety pin with very fine red stitches. A tarnished pin is attached to the three holy medals.
B. The larger ribbon is actually two pieces. It measures 1.75" x 2". One ribbon and one scapular. These have been sewn together and open like a book. Inside, across the top where the two cloth pieces connect, there are 7 holy medals sewn.
The medals on both pieces have a lot of patina and have probably seen some hard days. They are both absolutely beautiful antique pieces of history.
