I have never seen one of these pieces before. At first, I thought it was a Stanhope piece because of the center hole, but it isn't. Then I realized it comes completely apart, and each part is screwed into place. It is an amazing bovine bone miniature monstrance osternium rosary holder. There are so many pieces to this, I am showing it as it gets put back together. It is an amazing piece, and I have no idea whether the rosary was original or added later, but looking at the bead colors, I would guess it is original. The only flaw I can find is on the top. While the very top piece is meant to unscrew as well, it had an additional symbol on it that was broken off. Everything else is perfect, and I consider this a very rare piece indeed.
