A fabulous, ornate, floral-carved oval frame. This is an antique 19th-century French frame featuring intricate relief carvings of flowers and leaves. The frame exhibits a continuous motif of carved flowers and leaves, similar to Baroque or Rococo designs. It is made of carved wood and gesso. The frame measures 10.5" x 12" on the outer edge and 6.5" x 9" on the inner opening. This is a beautiful piece with a lot of possibilities.
