Beautiful vintage Italian miniature silk artwork from France. This is an original giltwood frame with silk art inside. There is no glass in the frame, which enhances the silk colors of the couple. The back is covered in black-and-cream toile fabric. The original triangle hanger remains in place, secured with two small nails. Overall dimensions are 5" x 4" x .70", and it is in excellent condition. These petite Italian pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
