Beautiful antique Georgian (pre-1837) carved intaglio. This fob seal pendant is a stunning piece. Our pictures do not do justice. The piece is set with a lovely Chalcedony stone and features two gentlemen walking with walking sticks. Chalcedony is a transparent form of quartz found in various colors. The base metal is rolled gold. The seal measures .63" in diameter and stands at 1" tall. This fob seal pendant is a true gem for both collectors and enthusiasts of antique jewelry. This piece is in good condition, considering its age of 200-plus years, and it is perfect to wear on a chain as a pendant. It does need to be cleaned.
