Beautiful antique 1800's French yellow roses mended oil on canvas painting. The painting is an original piece painted on a canvas and stretched on a wooden frame. The canvas is held in place with small tacks which go all the way around. The canvas has come loose from the tacks in several placces which can be seen. This is a VERY old piece circa 1800's. I have a thing for mended paintings and this one is just beautiful with the large yellow blooms. The overall dimensions are 21.75" x 18.25" x .1" and it is a large piece. The 1" accounts for the depth of the frame. This is a signed piece although I can't make out the name.
