Sometimes things come to me from Europe and I am mesmerized by the “why” I will never know. Sometimes there are extra medals on the rosaries which is a perfect example. Why was an extra medal or medals added? Were the rosary pieces part of a special family rosary? For me there will always be a question behind the question when it comes to these types of finds. This French rosary has black wooden beads with one added medal.The crucifix shows signs of wear and age. This rosary with medal is sold as is. This is an old piece sold as found. I did not clean it or attempt to clean it and there is wear commensurate with age as there should be with pieces this old and used.
