This is a beautiful antique French large repousse celluloid frame from the early 1900s. It is gently timeworn and full of faded charm. The frame includes a religious vignette.
This lovely pale blue piece has scroll designs and various patterns. There is a small separation on the right side of the frame. It measures 6.5" wide x 8.25" high and .25" deep. The back is papered, and the original writing with a date of 1909 can be seen. It's truly a fabulous piece. It was found in Normandy, along with several other pieces.
