These are rare antique "Lys de France" face powder boxes from Paris, dating to the 1930s. The round box features a vibrant royal blue paper covering adorned with numerous silver fleur-de-lis symbols. The elegant script reading "Lys de France" (Lily of France) reflects the naturalistic branding and refined feminine style common in interwar European cosmetics packaging. These are collectible vintage cosmetic items; they are unused, and I purchased them from a Parisian factory stock.

During the 1920s and 1930s, Paris was the global epicenter of the cosmetics industry. Factories across France manufactured these cardboard vanity boxes with small bottom ports for filling with delicately scented rice or talc-based powders. These have no powder, as they are from the original factory and were never used. Each one measures 2.8" x 1.25" and is made of heavy cardboard.  These are not reproductions. These are the original boxes.
