Beautiful antique French art from the 1800s. This is a wonderful, moody 19th-century portrait. While it came from France, I am getting an Italian feeling from this piece. I can't tell the original origin, as the information on the back has long since disappeared. This is an oil painting on wood, inside a gilt wooden frame. The overall dimensions of the piece are 9.25" x 7.75" x 2", including the frame. This is a deep frame. I wish I had more information on this piece, but I don't.
