What a gorgeous antique French paint box. The box opens to reveal several compartments filled with art supplies. There are paints, several metal accouterments, some coal sticks a paint brush, and a wooden piece that possibly slides into a hole to hold your artwork in place. The box itself is in SUPURB condition with all of its latches and hinges in place. I can see no issues with the box whatsoever. The paints are still squishy, so they can be used. I didn't open them up. The original paint palette is also in the box.
This is a lovely decorative piece in excellent condition. The contents are as pictured I consider this a superb find.
