Beautiful antique French buttons from the 1800s to early 1900s. Connect with the past and add a touch of history to your sewing supplies with this hand-sewn card of 36 vintage mother-of-pearl buttons. Discovered as deadstock in a French warehouse, these buttons date back to the Art Nouveau period and each measures .39" across—approximately 1 cm. Hand-stitched onto the original cardboard backing with an aluminum sheet beneath to highlight their luminous quality! Each set is both a functional sewing supply and a collector’s treasure. The cards are untouched, still tied together with thread. These are four-hole flat style – perfect for shirts, dresses, crafts, and textile restoration.
