Beautiful antique French miniature. This small framed piece depicts an angel watching over a sleeping child. The frame is brass, and the original glass is intact. The back is in great shape with original prongs holding the picture. This piece measures approximately 1.5" in diameter. This is a darling miniature, purchased in Provence, France, with other reliquaries and monastery pieces.
