A beautiful and well-executed antique French miniature painting. This painting is of a shepherd and his baby lamb. The painting is in the original wood frame, complete with glass and brass trim. The French Paper on the back looks to be brown textured paper and has a small note naming the painting "Divine Pasteur". At the top of the back, the original triangle hanger is still in place. Overall dimensions are 4.9" x 4.9" x .60". The Painting is in excellent condition. I can't be sure but I would say this is circa the mid-1800s as it was purchased with a group of paintings all of that era.
