Beautiful antique original miniature botanical oil painting. The painting is in the original wood frame, complete with glass which shows no signs of damage. The florals appear to have some texture to them as if raised. Around the oval glass covering the botanical is an additional brass frame. The back is exposed and I can clearly see the oil was painted on a sheet of repurposed metal. re is very old velvet on the back so I was unable to open the piece to examine it more closely. Overall dimensions are 5.25" x 6.5" x .60". The Painting is in excellent condition. I can't be sure but I would say this is circa late mid to late 1800's.
