By far one of the oldest fonts I have ever had. This is a beautiful Antique French holy water font with a large shell font, circa late 1700s to very early 1800s. This piece has an intact convex glass front, surrounded by ornate woodwork. Fragments of the woodwork have fallen away over time. It is wall-mountable with a small nail for hanging. This is all original, and other than cleaning the front glass, I have done nothing to it. The back has been covered with antique script paper. This is in fantastic condition, given it is approximately 300 years old. A real piece of history indeed. This piece measures 9.5" x 6" x 2.8".
